Sustainability & Ethical Policy

 

I am committed to running my bridal hair and makeup business in a way that minimises environmental impact while maintaining a luxury, natural service without compromising on hygiene or professional standards.

 

Waste Reduction

I actively reduce waste by using reusable tools wherever possible, without compromising on hygiene. All tools and brushes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between clients, and I minimise single-use items while ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness and safety. All waste is disposed of responsibly, and I prioritise refillable and long-lasting products within my kit.

 

Products & Sourcing

I use high-quality, cruelty-free makeup products, including Mii Cosmetics, I support local supply chains and reduce environmental impact. Where possible, I order products in bulk to minimise packaging waste and reduce the frequency of deliveries.

 

Travel

As a mobile artist, I drive a hybrid car  and plan my journeys efficiently to reduce emissions. I group bookings by location where possible and offer the option of a virtual consultations to minimise unnecessary travel.

 

Energy & Resources

I monitor product usage carefully and restock consciously to avoid excess and unnecessary waste.

 

Community & Ethics

I am committed to fair pricing, ethical working practices, and creating a positive, inclusive experience for all clients. I also aim to support local businesses and collaborate with like-minded suppliers.

 

Continuous Improvement

Sustainability is an ongoing process, and I am committed to continuously improving my practices as more sustainable options become available.
